“On Thursday, October 9th, our community became aware of a drag story hour for children being held at a Hallow-Queer Market hosted by the Goblin Market at Belvidere High School on October 19th from 10 am-3 pm. Immediately following this event, there is a PTO sponsored Trunk or Treat at the same school, where children will be present getting Halloween candy. This grooming of our children can not stand.”

Belvidere, New Jersey, is a town of approximately 2500 people. The school district also includes White, Harmony, and Hope townships. The Belvidere school district is kindergarten through 12th grade.

This event could not be happening without the approval and permission of the Belvidere School District superintendent and its Board of Education members. This is inappropriate material for minor children to be exposed to. Goblin Market NJ promotes "alternative art forms" to the community, apparently at Halloween—grooming and making normal that which is not normal or safe for children is exploitation of a child.

Please contact the Belvidere School District administrators and the Belvidere Board of Education members and express your disappointment and ask them the following questions.

Questions to ask:

Who are the individuals dressed in drag?

Have they been properly credentialed and vetted to be around children?
What are they reading?
What stories are they telling minor children?
What is the content of this material?
Is the material age-appropriate?
Is the material expressing the acceptance of the developmental gender identity disorders of LGBTQIA – XYZ plus, plus, plus?
Is Goblin Market NJ being paid to supply this event?
Who approved taxpayers' dollars for this event?
How much does the school district pay for this event?

The Belvedere City Council needs to reply and take a stand against the indoctrination, exploitation, and grooming of children. You can contact them by emailing them. There is a Belvidere Town Council Meeting on Tuesday at 7pm at Belvidere Town Hall, 691 Water St, Belvidere, NJ 07823.
