Gender Ideology: A Denial of Reality

Gender ideology is not scientific. As we, at the Center for Garden State Families, have said many times before, everything LGBTQIA-XYZ is a lie! There remains "...no replicated scientific studies supporting any specific biologic etiology for homosexuality." (American Psychiatric Association May 2000). Without any scientific justification, without any sociological replicated studies validating anything other than heterosexuality, we are causing grievous harm to our population, especially to our minor children by promoting radical gender ideology.

Gender ideology is a religion, a faith-based assumption that everything is based on what you feel and what you believe. Scientific evidence is not necessary because it's all about how your feelings. In this case, scientific evidence is ignored and shunned.Gender ideology is an umbrella term that encompasses a wide host of imagined genders and identities that deny the scientific, factual, and biological realities that there are only two genders, only two sexes and they are male and female. This is realized at the chromosomal level: you are either XX or XY. Gregory Quinlan, The Center for Garden State Families.

Another definition regarding the Marxist origins is from lifepersona.com stating: "Gender ideology or gender theory is a doctrine that developed at the end of the 1920s and early 1921. It argues that the differences between the masculine and feminine are due to social and cultural canons, leaving aside the biological characteristics of individuals. This current is derived from cultural Marxism and proposes to put the social over the biological, in order to give the person the power to define and decide on their sex, sexuality, and gender. The theory combines ideas from the theory queer, which defines gender as a social construction."Today, in schools across the nation and including New Jersey, we are by law forcing a dangerous lie upon our government schools. Let us look at exactly what is being done.Written in 2018 after the passage of N.J.S.A. 18A:36-41 The New Jersey Department of Education Transgender Guidance for School Districts Policy was implemented to provide direction for school systems in addressing common issues affecting transgender students. The policies and guidelines were developed after reviewing those from other states and organizations such as GLAAD ( Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) and GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian & Straight, Education Network) as well as psychologists, educators, counselors, and parents. The policies are intended to create an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment for transgender and gender-nonconforming students in our public schools. The legal rights of self-proclaimed transgender students are stressed in this seven-page student-centered document.

Issues such as proper pronouns and names used to address the student, definitions of gender-related terms, school records, confidentiality, privacy, and equal access to school and gender-related activities are covered. Parental rights are discussed in the following excerpts from page 2 to 3"A school district shall accept a student's asserted gender identity; parental consent is not required. Further, a student need not meet any threshold diagnosis or treatment requirements to have his or her gender identity recognized and respected by the district, school, or school personnel. Nor is a legal or court-ordered name change required. There is no affirmative duty for any school district personnel to notify a student's parent or guardian of the student's gender identity or expression. There may be instances where a parent or guardian of a minor student disagrees with the student regarding the name and pronoun to be used at school and in the student education records. A parent or guardian may object to the minor student's name change request.

School districts should consult with their board attorney regarding the minor student's civil rights and protections under the NJLAD (New Jersey Law Against Discrimination). Staff should continue to refer to the student in accordance with the student's chosen name and pronoun at school and may consider providing resource information regarding family counseling and support services outside of the school district.School districts should be mindful of disputes between minor students and parent/guardians concerning the student's gender identity or expression. Many support resources are available through advocacy groups and resources from the New Jersey Department of Children and Families and New Jersey Department of Education's 'Child Abuse, Neglect, and Missing Children' webpage."The above information comes from the New Jersey Department of Education, which deliberately enables a child's fantasy regarding and rejection of their scientific and biological identity. Teachers and school staff are forced to lie to the student to accommodate this fairytale.

Against the school staff's own conscience, and full biological and scientific knowledge they are forced to violate their own civil rights to accommodate the alleged right of a minor child to assert a falsehood about themselves.Rev. Gregory Quinlan, Founder and President of the Center for Garden State Families was privileged to be at a lunch meeting as a guest of The Heritage Foundation. Ms. Chloe Cole is a young 18-year-old woman who went through hormonal treatments and breast removal while a teenager in California schools because she believed that she was born in the wrong body. This young lady has had the courage to stand up and speak out regarding her regrets and the damage it has done to her future life because she lived as a transgendered teen. Below is the interview held in Washington DC at The Heritage Foundation.

Gender ideology is a denial of reality. It is being pushed by all levels of government throughout society from television, movies, commercials, print media, some churches and libraries. Speaking out against this dangerous psychological ideation brings hate, threats of violence and demonstrations of intolerance towards those who hold to proven scientific biologic facts. We at the Center for Garden State Families have attended multiple school board meetings and concerned parents' groups to inform and equip you to fight the battle to protect and defend your children from this dangerous ideology. Help us with your tax-deductible donation to continue our work to defend and promote faith, freedom, and the natural family.
