LIFE 2024 and Governor Phil Murphy

I watched Gov Murphy’s State of the State address and, just like last year as I looked and listened, I couldn’t wrap my head around how this man could be so aggressive about abortion. Of course, he says it is Reproductive Health Care and last year put down all the Republican leaders of the States putting limits on abortion. However, they will never use the word abortion. Instead, they will call it one of our most fundamental rights! Women should have a right to make their own choices about their bodies, ignoring the body of the baby. They call it Women’s Reproductive Health Care!
Gov Murphy said these leaders in states like Florida and Texas “wrap themselves in the flag and call what they are doing Freedom.”
He used the line last year from the movie The Princess Bride when Montoya says “You keep using that word, but I do not think it means what you think it means”. He laughed and said they are doing the opposite of freedom by waging a war against Women’s Health care. It always infuriates me that men’s hearts have become so evil they think what they are doing is good.
I would throw Montoya’s line back at him and say the Reproductive Health Care that you love to tout to NJ and to the Nation is the same thing, “You keep using that word but I do not think it means what you think it means”. The purposeful taking of a human life up to birth is not health care! It is, in fact, the murder of an innocent human life. He raved about how NJ is the forerunner of health care in this nation and how now any woman can get contraceptives without a prescription at any drug store. NJ now ranks 49th in the nation as the least pro-life according to Americans United for Life.
A few days ago Gov Murphy gave a new State of the State address where he brought up Reproductive Health Care once again and how they stalled a bill in the Senate in Dec. but by summer 2024 they want it to be passed. We have to wait to see what’s in it, but he mentioned no out-of-pocket costs for anyone seeking an abortion in NJ whether they live here or come from out of state. That would include the forced abortions of human trafficking victims and we will foot the bill. What was 14,000 abortions a year has now climbed to 22,000 in 2023 in New Jersey.
With Pride, Gov. Murphy calls our state a “beacon of light.” “But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” Matthew 6:23. How great is the darkness that hovers over our state and in the minds and souls of our leaders.
Gov. Murphy has weaponized the NJ Attorney General’s office and will use whatever means necessary to actively and aggressively go after Crisis Pregnancy Centers and sidewalk advocates. Anything they can do to intimidate and silence pro-life people using their new strike force. Of course, God does not leave us without help. Many organizations and non-profit attorneys are coming to the aid of all Christians, people of faith, and pro-life people all over NJ.
Now, when it comes to abortion, we are a Sanctuary State for all! Saying there are no out-of-pocket expenses is a fancy way of saying NJ taxpayers will cover the cost. It is blood money and also covers the $40,000,000 that will go to Planned Parenthood this year out of the state budget. Since Murphy has been in office, over $165,000,000 has been earmarked for Planned Parenthood as they go after Crisis Pregnancy Centers in NJ. The State does not give a dime to Crisis Pregnancy Centers. They are all funded by grassroots families to help women. Yet they will not be happy until they harass and shut down Crisis Pregnancy Centers. Why? Because Crisis Pregnancy Centers compete with their beloved Planned Parenthood, which is the altar of Baal. Not to mention the whole transgender agenda now in our schools, which is Planned Parenthood’s newest revenue stream. They prescribe hormone blockers and procedures Planned Parenthood recommends for children without the parent’s knowledge or consent. Just like abortion without parental consent or notification on minors.
We have another two years before this Governor of our Dark State exits his office!
We must trust in the power of Almighty God to replace him with a man of honor, righteousness, and a man who loves God. Together, I believe through prayer and action this state will turn around because God is in control, but the church must rise up and stop waiting for the next Martin Luther King Jr. who stated: “No, God is waiting to see what his bride his church will do! He has already given us orders the question is will we obey and pick up our crosses?” And “There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right.”
